We arrived at Skagway, about 6:30am. I had chosen to take the White Pass & Yukon Route train as my excursion for the day. We docked right at the loading area for the train, so I had a short walk over to board.

| The scenery is amazing from this trip. Beautiful rivers and wonderful mountain views are normal (left and below). | |||

| Below you can see near the top of the cliff at least six mountain sheep -- they are the small white specks about 1/2 inch below the top of the cliff near the middle of the image. | |||
